Eduard Vrdoljak

Eduard Vrdoljak is Head of the Center for Oncology and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Split. He has previously served as chairman of the Committee for the Development and Monitoring of the National Plan for the Fight against Malignant Diseases.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Split in 1989, before completing specialist training in cancer care at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He completed his specialty in Oncology and Radiotherapy in Split and became an Assistant Professor in 1995, before becoming Head of the Center for Oncology in 2001 and a Full Professor in 2007.

Professor Vrdoljak has published extensively on cancer treatment and authored several textbooks on Clinical Oncology.
