The country shows one of the highest overall performances on universal healthcare coverage (UHC). It is in the process of formulating and implementing plans to enable personalised health care and open government data. Public-private partnerships are an area of strength for Colombia, demonstrating a strong political will to advance collaboration with the healthcare sector. Colombia performed well in the areas of patient data control, telehealth capabilities, decision support systems, and national AI initiatives. Results showed that creating policies to advance equity and social mobility will be crucial to improve social determinants of health and propel Colombia towards a personalised healthcare system.
