Lydia Makaroff

Lydia Makaroff has over 10 years' international experience in non-communicable disease research and policy development in academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and the non-profit sector.

After working in Global Market Access at a pharmaceutical company, Lydia joined the International Diabetes Federation as their Epidemiology and Public Health Manager. She holds a PhD in immunology and a Masters' degree in Public Health. Lydia Makaroff is CEO of Fight Bladder Cancer and a member of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition. She is an Australian-Belgian dual national.
